In a way this makes me think of my Grandma Susie, she passed from cancer in July of 2012, she didn't have Alzheimer's but she had melanoma that ended up spreading to 5 other places including her brain and in the end she sort of lost her filter between her brain and mouth and began to forget things but she never lost her quick wittedness, I just hated watching that Saint on earth go through that, but I guess god can always use another angel up in heaven, Rest in peace grandma I love you and miss you so much.

The first time I heard this song when it first came out it reminded me of my Mom-Mom and I cried. My Uncle Raymond pasted in his mid 50's from bone cancer and he did not want his mother to know about it as she was recovering from breast cancer and he knew she was going to make it. I think of both of them while listening to this song. It was hard to find this song when it first came out as Brett did not have a CD out...I was very happy when my husband found it and down loaded it on my MP3 player. Thanks Brett for a great song.
