Ok, here's the deal regarding Brads "Shame" album. It isn't "underrated" - it was never promoted all that much. It simply wasn't heard. Theories abound that the record was too good therefor it was buried due to Gossard's involvement with Pearl Jam either by the studio or even deeper down the rabbit hole..Eddie Vedder himself. Everyone who is familiar with the record knows it is as good as "Ten" or " VS". (The competition at the time) However sometimes good things can come out this. For example, it's great to have Brad as your own little secret band as it feels more personal and real. They are one of the greatest cult bands of all time. (along with Satchel and Pigeonhed)

I feel bad for people who do not have enough musical insight to see how special this song is. How incredible his voice is to any genre... brad, satchel, pigeonhed. the fact it is so underrated amongst such genius makes me sad for the music industry and kids that allow themselves to be influenced on "what is good". Then again maybe if they signed big we never get their true souls behind their art.
