Does it really matter if it's disco, funk, soul, jazz or whatever you want to label it. It''s just been a darn good song for now onto 37 years! Something that made you feel good way back in the day, just as it does listening to it now. Do ya think all the stuff out now will be as classical in 2050? For me, I think not.
