Scooping to the note from below the pitch (baritone) and bad breath support for the bass. :-( Listen to 54 seconds and beyond - from "Hard" (flat) and "bye" (flat) and yesterDAY (bass losses breath support). Tenor does a pretty good job throughout. The second time through those words was better. Gotta stay up on on the pitch boys and breath is the single most important thing in singing - cures lots of issues.
