Yeah, I has similar fantasies. I was 24. I would move to LA or New York and be some kind of cool alternative New-Wave dude. I would hang out in cool night clubs and meet edgy people living on the fringe of society. Of course, that never happened. I'm still stuck in the same town. Surfing Youtube from my 9-5 desk job while pretending to work trying to capture some sense of adventure in life.
