I believe this song is based on the style of the 1920's. Kathy Brier is a modern singer. If I could pick any decade in the last 100 years to live in it would be the 1920's. The music, the clothes style, the automobiles, the culture and the women. It looked like it would have been a lot of fun to live then. Not just what BE shows. But what I have read about in history. I love this song.

this is why peaky blinders is so terrible look at the differencr when i watch boardwalk i feel transported the music everything feels authentic. peaky blinders use of modern music makes it constantly look like a shiny rock video

The band that plays all the music for the show is Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks, and whenever I'm in NYC I go see them at Iguana 240 west 54th street [212 765 5454]. You can hear them play all these great songs! It's a real bargain: 3 sets of music, an 11 piece 1920s band and the cover is only $15. NYC's greatest music deal!
