james chance and the contortions, some foetus/j.g thirlwell stuff, john zorn, maybe even just some of the more deranged of the jazz legends like sun ra, archie shepp, albert ayler... look at the no-wave bands coming out of NYC in the late 70s/early 80s... I know that they're not *super* related but you might get a kick out of Kayo Dot as well.
