I am pretty sure this is the sound he is going for. A record label would not have signed for three albums if he didn't have a good voice. Do you have any albums with a record label?

The cording is sweet and simple, the lyrics are rather refreshing but I'm less than impressed with his voice. He is mumbly and lispy sounding. Could use some vocal lessons.

@Thatbeat1974 I totally agree about Devotion & Doubt. But this song is from Bloomed. Buckner may be the most underrated songwriter I can think of. Not the kind of music you can pigeon hole and market, but that just makes me appreciate it all the more.
