He didn't. He started with these guys and ended up with Killswitch. Apparently he's now working with another band. He didn't hop straight into it. He couldn't exactly just go back to KSE and say "hey guys, i'm feeling ok now. Wanna kick out Jesse and do another album together?" Especially seeing as Jesse was the original Killswitch vocalist anyway.
