This song is not simple to play on the drums. In fact it is extremely hard. It might seem super simple and easy and not a big deal but the fast pace and it is played in really make it difficult. Also, you have to stay in a straight tempo en not play out of time. Lastly the beat is pretty hard to play at this speed, you already have to keep the previous 2 things in mind while playing but also the hihat and snare combination + bass make it even harder! Then also exhaustion plays a role, I get pretty exhausted by all means playing this song (may not be for other drummers) so when the song reaches its end it's really difficult to keep up the super fast 16th notes. It takes a good lot of practise to learn this technique but it is definately possible!!

Good job dude. Your hand work is spot on. You're a little ahead of the beat with your kick. Just needs to be a bit tighter with the feet and its perfect. But Travis (and Scott) are extremely fast. Takes a lot of practice to play that fast and still sound tight.

I don't think Travis' version adds a whole bunch more than Scotts (i think the guy doing the cover mentioned it), i see the rolls with the extra hi hat work and then the bouncing around in the crashes. I know a lot of blink fans after Dude Ranch talk trash about Scott saying he isn't any good, i had a chance to hang out with blink when they were just blink and when they had to drive themselves around on tour and Scott was saying he comes from a jazz drumming back ground which ia really technical even though his style was fast he still had skills but i guess choose not to ahow them off. There's no denying travis is a good drummer but as an old school skatepunker i liked Scott. As for this guy he's pretty good better than i am, keep it up!
