Was going through some old crap I have in storage boxes when I stumbled upon this Wonderful CD somehow thrown in with my other JUNK... Wow.. Brings back TRUE MEMORIES of the Old Days... This Band ROCKS!! Oh My God such Talent... The Guitars Blending, Overlapping each other and the amazing Drums along with Sean's Voice.. Almost reminds me of Gun's N Roses but so much BETTER and ALTERNATIVE ROCK... I've been listening to this CD for WEEKS now and Cannot get the Songs OUT OF MY HEAD... I particularly love this song, Dear Ol' Dad because at the time I was into this band my dad and I were in a serious Battle of powers... He didn't understand what I was doing with my life and Likewise I didn't understand what was UP with him... The Lyrics to this song say so much... Come now listen babe, I Got a reason why I behave like a child with the light in his eyes... I was LIVING LIFE to the fullest... Sometimes the OLDER generation has no CONCEPT OF THIS... They just Worked their ass off Day in and Day out... Like Doing HARD TIME in prison... Seriously... Sometimes you have to LIVE LIFE... Be FREE... Blind Melon is a LOST TALENT... A TRULY AWESOME BAND that will live on throughout History as one of the ALL TIME GREATS!! BRAVO!!
