This tune appears on Ralph McTell's "Eight Frames A Second" LP - named in honour of the great ragtime and blues guitarist/composer Blind Arthur Blake He learned it when busking in Paris from a fellow busking guitarist. Strictly speaking a fair proportion of the tune is a merger of St. Louis Tickle (old piano rag - 1904 by Theron Bennett writing under the pseudonym of Barney & Seymour) and Buddy Bolden's Blues as played by the trombone player and band leader Edward "Kid" Ory. The tune was probably written by Jelly Roll Morton.
