I like this version, but I still give the nod to Kenny Loggins. Blake's voice is too country for what should be a rock song. Doesn't have the range or emotion that this song needs. Just falls a little flat. Much like the remake itself. The lead kid is no Kevin Bacon, Dennis Quaid is no John Lithgow. Good performances, nothing to be ashamed of. But not enough heart.
