A New York City based indie rock band who formed in Brooklyn in 2007. Considered one of New York City's best live acts, they frequently sell out venues along the East Coast. Black Taxi blends post punk revival with alternative rock and they have an upbeat party rock style comparable to Franz Ferdinand, Modest Mouse and Cake. The band consists of members Ezra Huleatt, Bill Mayo, Krisana Soponpong and Jason Holmes. Their music video for 'ShoeShine' was an official honoree in the 15th annual Webby Award selections.
