PxRxPx, you are exactly right. Hardcore punk is pure passion and it is timeless and will never die. Black SS and lots of other bands today are extremely positive and uplifting. Go to a punk show and really experience Black SS before you knock it as being repetitive or violent.

Whatever, never discover the freedom of weed and listen to your miserable, angry, simple three chord progression and keep going to shows where people get the crap out of watch other for no reason, but the music apparently has a "positive" message. And as far as I'm concerned, Hardcore/Punk had it's revival in the 00's, and now it's dead again.

Great, start a shitty experimental noise band or something, and get the fuck out of my scene please. This music timeless, and for good reason. It's people like you that were responsible for the musical abortion that was 75% of "hardcore" in the 90's. Hardcore Punk - Get with it or get the fuck away from it.

MattHatter is right though, hardcore and punk is extremely redundant and negative, it's almost an oxymoron to preach about peace at shows when the vibe of the music is so angry, even if the lyrics are against violence. It's time for something new, we don't need another Minor Threat and we don't need another Floorpunch.
