It's better than the Blue Swede version for most purposes, but if one has to play the song semi-seriously, the Blue Swede version is better. Like in that prison scene in Guardians of the Galaxy. It was there in part to take the edge off the scene and to let us know what Quill was thinking. And what song he was missing. He probably never thought he'd hear it again.
