This may not be true since I got it from wikipedia but it says that Paul plays lead John plays the second guitar part and George plays bass.

Well..the song has three riffs..the first verse main riff...the alternate ascending boogie and descending major scale riff..("I would like you to dance)..culminating in a full ascending boogie blues octave and then straight down to the root...and the solitary bluesy riff bridge, with rhymic stop. Song also has a triplet chord section,,with no riff..(Yes we're going to a party party,) So I'd say 20 mins is a fair time to work it out by ear.

George played the Fender VI (Bass) on this song

For some people, it means both.

Does that mean life is gonna go by fast, or that life is gonna go downhill and turn shitty?

privettricker

It's all downhill from there...

It took 15 minutes to get out of bed, then 5 minutes to get the riffs. It's not all that difficult, since most of the song is the same riff repeated in different frets.

Maybe George or Paul, but most probably George. I really like your channel. Do you have Facebook?

Never been a fan of this song, but I have to learn it for a gig next weekend. Your video has helped me immensely. Thanks.
