#93 on the list could be construed as a motto for tonight! Wasn't sure what to expect given her someone aloof demeanor, so I just played it somewhat safe again, at least initially. As the evening progressed, I interacted a bit with her kin and also with an acquaintance of mine while waiting for everyone to finish. During their activity I tried something new; rather than avoid her (looking or otherwise), I kept my eyes on her continuously. I felt more at ease with this approach, not knowing if it would bestow dividends. Later, I adopted a more modest confrontational approach as I surmised it was high time I did so. First, I wanted a more secure way of keeping in contact with her, so if we called and missed her, another mean would be available to communicate our plans. When she finished her activities, I again interacted with her kin and this is where things really kicked into high gear for us! She approached me, we first shared a most wonderful hug, among other interactions (including twirling her around and around, and I then had the chance to turn additional confrontation I have harbored into a bit of humor. I started imitating her on how she always wants to leave right after the events are over and she sort of pushed back at my teasing (to my great delight!). Then I had the chance to sort of chase her out of the building before leaving with my son and returning home to write this. Too marvelous indeed!!!
