I bought Billys album when it first came out all those years ago and this song always and still has the power to hit the heart and soul strings. This performance on Jools Holland aided and abetted by Jools great piano translation and Billys own aged experience truly improved the original. In your terms Billy God bless and thank you so much for the memories. I pity the younger X-Factor performers who may be denied this nusical heritage.

Fairly sure that he played on that song, too, although I'm not so sure that the chord structure is that similar; it's more that distinctive Hammond sound that he has, to my ears, but I don't mind being proved wrong by any musicologists out there.
