i remember when i was like 9 when this song came out and i didnt kno the meaning so i would sing it every time it came on the radio... to the future 5 years!we were learning about old poems and the like meaning of a rose and he gave us the lyrics of this song and explained wat it actually meant...... wow, i never got it until today

Today, 14 years ago my father passed away. On our way to the cemetery, this song came on via the radio. Two years ago, I went to visit my father's grave and lo and behold on the radio this song began playing. Minus the part about messing around with Catholic girls, the song has a deep meaning.
