Always loved this version of CAPTAIN JACK. . I grew up in QUEENS and out on the island ,BILLY JOEL is NY's own . I was there at the concert that closed SHEA STADIUM. The show was fantastic , a fitting tribute to BIG SHEA. So glad that PAUL MCCARTNEY made it just in time , a perfect ending. Miss OLD SHEA a lot, spent many days there playing hooky!! :)

Can you just envision this crowd? It's rare that we have to do "such archaic things" such as this. Just LISTEN.... Can you hear that emotional response? Common, you've still got it (an awesome imagination)! The sound is outstanding, just put yourself about 20 rows back...fit in with the crowd & "fill in the missing pieces. GOD BLESS!

While in the Navy and stationed on carrier duty in Virginia, my best friend and my future brother in law John died, quite suddenly by Cocaine as a catalyst. The freeway traffic actually took his life, but the part Cocaine played was unmstakable! He decided he could cross I-495 beltway to get to the other die. He was mistaken, he couldn't make it across and he died quite needlessly This song is about Heroin, usage but John's demise and untimely death was caused by a drug just as dangerousI literally talk to his grave when I visit home. there is a statue of General Jubal E Early overseeing the sacred resting grounds where the troops of the gray had marched past over a century ago, headed for Manasas. I find myself raising my voice and yelling at my friend. He needed to hear it form me, but I could never bring him back, no matter how hard I prayed. Please, think twice when deciding to ingest something and just know that it may be you, just like my friend John Rest well my friend! I sure miss you I haven't been back home since my dad passed away and I am long overdue
