Ed Mathis ~ Eddy Shaver died 12/31/99 of a heroin overdose. Billy Joe still suffers behind his son's death.

genius mchaggis ~ Billly Joe Shaver wrote a number of Waylon's top songs. They go back a long ways. Billy Joe's son, Eddy (who is in this video), died New Years Eve, 1999 of a heroin overdose. Billy has not gotten over it yet. It was very sad.
