Billie Holiday (April 7, 1915 -- July 17, 1959) was an american jazz singer and songwriter. Nicknamed "Lady Day" by her friend and musical partner Lester Young, Billie Holiday had a seminal influence on jazz and pop singing.

Without a doubt- I Love Miss Holiday, but some of these tracks sound like she just guzzled a 40ounce of malt liquor. My goal is to find her best work! Concerning alcohol. Proverbs31:4,5,&6 (My interpretation) 4) They that are of royalty should not get drunk. 5) Because they may get drunk and and FAIL TO ASSIST those that are In poverty/trouble/adversisty. 6) If you're faithles, hopeless, unbelieving, and perishing- Have at it, that you may temporarily forget your troubles.
