I do understand that each may have her or his own opinion, but how could someone not appreciate the sincere and genuine sharing of emotional interpretation in this rendition - to the 9 who dislike it.

WestSideOfJazzAnytime is great for the lyrical and melodic majesty of Bill Evans. I have always loved the Flamenco Sketches like intro into the Leonard Bernstein Broadway standard.

Kind of has the "Flamenco Sketches" from "Kind of Blue" vibe

I only recently discovered this song and love it. A perfect tune for the melancholy style of Bill Evans. Leonard Berstein with Comden and Green wrote it for Broadway in 1944. By the way, if you want a different take on this song check out Jane Monheit's version on You-tube. Just as sloooow and a very sensual video to go with it.
