This movie came out the year i was born.  I've always loved it and I've always been a fan of the score.  Music so often helps carry and or enhance movies.  I can just imagine to opening scene...  1980 New York...  The camera panning across lower Manhattan with the twin towers visible, sweeping under the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges on the East River...  The bus going across the Macombs Dam Bridge past the old Yankee Stadium...  Classic!!!
