Great song....I played Bill's 1981 album and Chicago's 1982 "16" constantly in the early 1980's..Bill left Chicago in 2009,correct? My fav BC vocal was "You're Not Alone"

I remember liking this song immediately when I first heard it, but never knew who sang it. Then I saw Chicago when they toured behind "17," and out came this lovely musical memory! Bill and this song are much more inextricably linked in my mind than anything he did with Chicago, and I wish him much success again on his solo road...

This is great. Thanks for posting. I had this on my classic "to buy on CD" list well before the Internet was available, but I didn't know who sung it. One day I was on a long roadtrip when I heard it. I pulled over, called the radio station and got the artist's name. Let's just say that I didn't waste much time mail ordering Runaway as an import just to get this song and found the rest of the album was just as good.
