I don't know about anyone else but when I first listened to Infinity Land I didn't really get it and became my least favourite Biffy record. But after a few months it became my favourite. Mon' the Biff'!

What would be more interesting would be if, instead of just saying how great they are and worshipping their craft and skill at playing their instruments and putting together "masterful sounds" (which they can) is showing how the music actually supports the meaning of the song. It seems to me that the riff changes are not merely to wow you, but to suggest how quickly we seem to move from one unrelated thing to the next in life and act like nothing's happening. That's only my 2nd listening though.

this was definitely their musical peak - a special place is set aside for this album in my heart - Only Revolutions was SO watered down and commercial (I probably only listened to it through once)
