Everybody wants to dream the dream to come true; The love to love themselves enough and take the chance. I used to work for lady who said that her teacher in her college was janis joplin's mom. She said her mom was more prim and proper and that janis would every once in a while go see her mom there at the school for whatever reason. She was about 17 (janis joplin) when she did this. My employer was the college student. Small world I thought.

I was too young when Janis Joplin came onto the scene,but love her songs. The first one I heard was Me and Bobby McGee and I was hooked. In 2001 my father died and I went onto the computer to distance myself from reality and came across Janis Joplin's The Rose. So I played it, and every Saturday morning for 3 years I played it and I cried every time. Ironically, my sister and Dad went to the Drive-In and saw The Rose with Bette Midler, my sister enjoyed it.Janis is part of the 27 Club now. RIP.
