I like how Beowulf tells Unferth off by pretty much saying "Well no I didn't win the race, but I killed a bunch of sea monsters in the middle of a storm. But I'm sure you've done something way more badass than that, right?"

No... I cannot agree with you there. Beowulf is more about a gritty nordic lifestyle, whereas skyrim somwhow has a finesse of grace to it. Mixing the two would be epic but would remove each soundtracks uniqueness.
