When I told my (then) boyfriend my desired wedding song in 2011 (this one), I never thought he would never remember. But during the summer of 2013 I left a comment on this video stating that he had proposed to me, using this song. He took me into the woods, alone, and played this song on the guitar before getting on one knee to propose. I hadn't told him of my desire for this to be my wedding song since 2011. He remembered. On 8/8/2014, we danced our first danced as a married couple to this song. I have never, ever, been happier in my whole life.Every single day I wake up feeling more and more blessed that this man is my husband. I had my moment of clarity in Africa during January 2012. But everyone has their moments at different times. I suppose my main point is this- NEVER rush your forever, Never force your forever. Your best friend, your confidant, your lover, will come along without your acknowledgment and you will have no control over your fate in love. Just accept your fate.Let love come to you in time. You will never regret it, and you will wake up everyday next to the person you always dreamed of. Let this song remind you. Love is real. Love exists. Love is healthy and regardless of any societal norms, love WILL prevail.
