Simply because the next generation only want to see half naked women and pretty boys doing dance routines in video's, they wouldnt know a decent singer if it came and slapped them in the face. 2000+ is all about image, before then it was more about music. Only have to look at pop idol and american idol.

This band, in MY opinion..... has nothing to do with the Cocteau Twins.....both amazzzzing bands... Both amazing voices... but totally different methods of execution.

@osmosys808 ya comparing anyone to Cacteau Twins is sort of like comparing people to Frank Zappa...some stuff is just so delightfully it's own thing that comparison is nowhere. Bel Canto just excelled inside a more familiar arena.
