I think it's funny how people get so amazed by infernos feet in reality he isn't that good. Don't get me wrong he is a great drummer. However he is "Topping" on his double bass which is triggered (there's not anything wrong with triggers) but the way he is working his pedal is really easy. It's cheating. I would like to see him pull his infamous double bass without triggers. It wouldn't be as fast. George Kollias is a batter drummer.

+dizzle49er I've never really thought of Lars Ulrich as being a technical drummer. His style seems to be more showy and less technical. Lets face it, Lars is a showman. I remember watching a drum battle between Lars and James Hetfield and the thing that surprised me is how much better James' technique was. Lars is a bang on the drum kind of guy.

not only is inferno a war machine, he's a fucking artist. he can blast but he can tickle the drums, too. i love his cymbal work. and yes, i've seen him fucking WINDMILL while playing when he has more room. full windmills, not just a little hair-tossing. he's also 34, turning 35 in december. hoglan & peart are how old? inferno is a legend in the making. \m/
