SUPER IMPORTANT QUESTION for Mr Chappers! If I've learnt how to play the 7 mode shapes corresponding to the major scale and linked them together across the fretboard, then I can play, say the Aeolian pattern and extend it up and down the fret board yes? Since I know the other 6 patterns anyway.Hence my question is, given the above information, what is the point of learning ANOTHER 5 separate shapes for the Aeolian/Minor? OR are they basically derivatives of the mode shapes themselves?

I saw one of his videos yesterday on the Aeolian mode (with a "burnt" guitar) but now I can't find it. I was watching it on my phone and want to see it on my computer. Where did it go? It isn't even showing up in the YouTube history? Anyone else see it or know where I can find it. It was an excellent lesson. More advanced than this one.

yeah 1 3 4 is the minor shape it always has been 1 2 4 is called reverse minor 1 3 5 in a major shape, then stuff like 1 2 5 and 1 4 5 have different names, i call then harmonic minor shape and reverse harmonic minor

Chappers, I beg you for a Legato lesson! I've always had difficulty with pulling off shapes and moving this across the strings. An introduction to legato, since your technique seems so flawless, would benefit many of us!
