If its wasnt for Shabba none of these artist would have gotten the exposure .It was after the success of Shabba the mojor record companies started to sign dancehall acts to their labes. Ti.50 cent ,eminiem, Snoop dog, ll kool j ,all those artist out sold RUN DMC yet still they are considered the king of hip hop , why because they paved the way for them . What way did beenie man paved for any danehall acts?

@gkipling ok. listen !!!! shaggy has done more than any other dancehall artiste in termsw of performances , international aclaim and record sales, but he is not considered a king of anything !!!! likewise sean paul. beenie man cross genres and is widely accepted more than these acts as an authentic dancehall artiste, he brought the world T.I. the artiste and has helped other hip hop acts with their career.
