PLEASE: Read video description below BEFORE COMMENTING. Redundant comments or questions will be deleted.

I skipped the first bridge and the third verse. Note that there are three overdubbed lead guitar edit pieces. One just after the intro, one between the first and second verse and the outro itself. This is a 1977 Rickenbacker 360/12 with Rickenbacker strings played through a Vox AD15VT set on AC30TB, no effects . Min Bass, Min Mid, Max Treble. .

My videos are really intended for accomplished guitarists who want to polish up their Beatles repertoire and can benefit from "seeing" how a song is played. If the various chords that I am playing are not familiar to you then I would suggest that you visit some of the many free guitar chord sites. I had to learn these songs by listening to vinyl records and watching live performances on tv.

Of all the songs you're working on... some were created at the magical 432hz... are you tuning everything you have to that, so as to match?

When I was trying to figure out this song I did not think the opening chord for John was a barre chord. After watching the same video you mentioned I decided it was xx4342. At least his hand position looked to be down there on the neck and it sounds extremely similar. Just curious what your opinion is. Bummed you didn't have the John part also.Just wondering if you'll get around to Rubber Soul sometime.Thxs, TW

@johngonefishin. LOL...Well, then, we who have given our hands in the service, so to speak, on The Beatles and on finger twisting jazz chords...Oh hell let's just break out the painkillers!

the D chord made with a barred C is simple idea, yet genius, giving that deep F# note..not easy to play though !

Your videos are truly amazing! Love every one of your covers. That Rick is somethin' else! You should do a cover of If I Needed Someone. In my opinion it is one of George's best 12-strings songs. I think that you'd do a great job with it.

Thanx 4 ur comment. FYI, it's a natural finish on maple - no color.

Very good. I've never seen a yellow Rick before, it's a very vibrant color.

I'll assume you mean the last note of the outro riff. As explained George overdubs the outro on top of his original backing track where he plays an open D chord. Then in the overdub he plays the riff you see in the bottom of the video. The two tracks together create the sound you hear. If this isn't your question, then please be more specific -- perhaps the time when your question occurs in the video.

Nicely done, just enough of the RIC 12-string sound to complement the vocals and melody line.

Actually he plays Em in first position during the first part of the verse and then at the 7th fret during the second part of the verse. D and F#m are played as shown in my video. If you don't agree, watch the video of the two lip sync performances from A Hard Day's Night and you will see George playing the same chord positions as I use in the video

George playing Em on 7 fret, D on 5 fret, F#m on 9 fret.
