Sometimes Beat Happening reminds me more of Garage Punk than "twee pop" or whatever cutesy label is usually given to them... this is true for the song Bewitched especially.

Same approach you deaf fool. A single note riff repeated over and over with the guitar hitting accents in the exact same place. Then change to a higher key. It was definitely influnced by YMG. Don't even fucking kid yourself son.

Maybe the HOTTEST song of Calvin's band, it really TURNS ME ON as the album itself. A silly question: how is it called in the US that small act of Calvin when spinning the bottle? In my country it is called "The Drunken Bottle", a hazardous game we played when we were kids... please let me know about it!
