The Lyrical, Musical and Guitar Brilliance of Bill Nelson

Be Bop Deluxe - Jean Cocteau from the LP "Between the Worlds" / "Lights" (1975) (Recalled after only one day of sale)

Bill Nelson was educated at the Wakefield College of Art, where he developed an interest in the work of poet and filmmaker Jean Cocteau.

Sometimes a film

Sometimes a photograph

Sometimes a rose

Sometimes a looking glass

Enchanter of souls

Your dreams still unfold

Sometimes a child

Sometimes a tradgedy

Sometimes a truth

Sometimes a fantasy

Enchanter of souls

Your dreams still unfold

Sign your name with a star

It's all a game

Only a pantomine

A deadly parade

Sadly to end divine

Enchanter of souls

Your dreams still unfold

Sign your name with a star

Jean Cocteau directed one of the most films of all time, and it was in black and white: "La Belle et la Bête" ("Beauty and the Beast"). It's no wonder a genius like Bill Nelson would be attracted to his work.

Excellent Video - really suits the song. I was not aware of Cocteau's stained glass windows shown in this video - beautiful.
