the clothes are all over the place when it comes to historical time,he's i suppose is supposed to be Louis 14 correct for 1710-20 three girls in a nightgown (look at fall in back)which is usually 1740-50 and the other one 1720,and for those that do not understand ,this dance was meant to exhibit the dancing skills of the sun king and as for the stiffness,try wearing the ladies 's corset.note these 18th century corsets did not allow a woman to raise her arms from the shoulder.
