@ShaynaReneSings I was one-hundred percent aware this was barlow girl's song .. but there's a comment at the top saying 'i wrote this song because...' and in other places the user claimed it theirs and not Barlow Girls. That's what my comment was about. If you were just doing a kindness and replying to say whom the artist was -since I hadn't- then many thanks for giving them the credit they deserve <33

This song should teach not only young people, but everyone at any age to love themselves for who and what they are. God will give you the strength to over come any obstacle and his opinion should be the one that will mostly matter to you. Not what other people think. Don't let temptation hold you back from being in the path of Jesus. He says that he loves you and it's a fact. :)

to bad the person who DID write this song is not you. i wish that you could gift the credit to the person deserving of it. honour christ and please do not claim to have written things that you didn't write. encourage and be a great servant, but please do not lie and take the work of others and claim it as your own. wanting to spread God's message is fantastic, but please do so honestly. barlowgirl is a gift and blessing from Him, so you can spread His love with THEIR name and THEIR message.

Wow I wish I had the faith of some of these people who wrote those comments. Right now, even if I gave some long, impressive speech about self-image and how God's love can overcome it, it would just be words. But it's really good to know that this song helped people, and there are people who still believe so strongly ^^

Is this really a Christian video wow...as a guy who likes the song and the Lord spoke to me in a different way (like how i don't need to let satan define me by what I see in the mirror but by who I am in Christ..a new "reflection" instead if the original meaning) but some of these images def. are not living up to the standards in the bible. May say im exaggerating but it seems to me that Christ would have expressed the same song w/out having to put half dressed females in the vid.

I know girls cover up with make up, some do it 'cause they like it, others do it to cover up and try to make theirselves look prettier. That's why when a girl tells me she looks like shit without make up, I snap and tell them no they don't. That pisses me off the most, the world is so cruel, but I will not any girl tell me she look like shit without makeup. It's just not in my book.I want to be there for people as much and I will.And NO GIRL will tell me they look like shit, I will NOT allow it!

I found this song a couple years ago and I was listening to my IPod earlier today and it was on shuffle. This song played. I imediately said I was gonna listen to it again on here. I know what girls can go through, though I'm a guy I don't know everything, but I have 2 sisters in Christ who've been depressed and one feels fat, When I hear her call herself fat, I totaly flipped out. I love my sisters and will always be that one who will give them a compliment whenever needed. They're the best.

When I was about 11 or 12 I began to struggle with an eating disorder. It never got physically bad; I only got down to about 80 pounds and I was already underweight to begin with, but I was torturing myself emotionally, telling myself that I was fat and ugly and worthless. I still struggle with feelings of worthlessness, and the physical remnants of my eating disorder (sometimes I can't eat without throwing up), and I'm 18 now. Healing is a process, but just know that God is in control.

i have a different self image now i feel comfortable now i didnt before cuz ive had a hard past but this is so true and who cares im me and the mirror is just a thing to check ur hair in and LOVEEE it !!!
