Ich fand immer, dass das Orchester viel zu leise abgemischt war. Trotzdem die beste Version dieses Songs. Die Bläser hätten mindestens so laut sein müssen wie die Singstimmer, so hört sich das an als ob die 100m weit weg wären. Eine gezupfte Gitarre ist in der Regel auch nicht so laut wie ein ganzes Orchester. Es klingt einfach komisch, wenn das Orchester forte spielt und eine leise Singstimme dieses übertönt, das hätte man besser arangieren können.

You know, when you enter with a lot of people in black in a graveyard for one your best friends funeral and this music is playing and at the moment where you penetrate into the place the music is at the 3:30 part, then everyone finish to be in place all along the grave at the 4:25 moment, silently, solemnly and then someone turns it off by the slightest fade out at 5:30 until 5:40... It was the first time I heard it so I was kinda overwhelmed by the dam feels. But this song gave me the greatest feel: it was so epic that I felt we couldn't have payed much better tribute for my friend who would have loved this way to do it, so it warmed my heart a bit, and I kinda was happy and with the half-smile, which is also creepy you could say. but I didn't cared, I remembered all the good times and it helped me mourn at this moment.Amazing how powerful music can be! Thank you, BJH!

first heard this in 1973 when I bought Once Again from a guy clearing out his record collection "how could you sell this" 41 years later Mockingbird still passes the test of "hairs stand up on arms", glorious music, the saddest thing about it is it has to end, the recent version by The Enid is fine no point in judging them against each other, just enjoy it, the orchestral part in the last minute is sublime.
