the bass isnt what makes this version catchy, unless u mean the bass notes, then in that case you're right. but no just because the bass thumps more than in other versions, that doesnt make it more catchy. the off throwing harmony of the original song really killed it, this version took it out and left it with just the chords, which is what made it catchy in the first place
