Thx for the explanation. Also Cape Verdean is a language that not so many people know. IT would be nice if more of the coladeira, morna and other genres had lyrics translated to English, that would help me:) We need a worldwide revival of GOOD MUSIC!!! Be well:)

The problem is that Few Cape Verdeans support our traditional and original music. Modern rithms such as Zouk, Pop or Rap, have influenced the new generation to the point that the majority do not even Respect our Music which include, Morna, Coladeira, batuku, Funanana, talaia Baxu, Tabanka and many others.
