Saw B Movie way back in early 81 supporting Duran Duran in a club off Charing Cross road, other support was Biddy and Eve....Dont laugh, Duran duran were class back then before it got silly. Anyway, went on to see B Movie 3/4 times again and never understood why they did not get more recognition....Still sounds great after all this time..happy daze !!

I was 18 years old in 1982 and was living in-between Paris -Tahiti & London...those days were very rich & not so much like todays never ending revivals from punk to acid house to early techno and not to mention eighties new wave , from Joy D to New Order & all the smallest act ...what days that were !!!

@inverclydepa15 Yes, the music was really good, and even inspired Montreal artists like Francois Matte

saw them in London , maybe 1981 or 82, at a small venue, possibly LSE. David Bowie was in the audience

@mrbelmont2000 The Faint didn't steal it - it clearly states in the album cover booklet that they have used this as a basis for Southern Belles and they've acknowledged B-Movie. Better than these crappy samples we get today.

@inverclydepa15 Stevo from Some Bizzare had a choice at the time (B-Movie or Soft Cell) he chose soft cell but b-movie gained cult status , They had a huge following in Scotland especially the town of Grangemouth where every copy of rememberance day was bought... We even had a DJ steal a copy of a punter at the bowhouse disco because it was so popular...... !!!
