At long last, my Canterlot Carols EP is finished! This is a song about Pinkie Pie and a pony whose life was changed by a her friendliness, and eventually by her love. It's a sad one though... Probably the most bittersweet song I've done. So take that as a warning before the feels gang up on you all at once. xD

Thirty two years down the road

He had let the past go

But he hadn't forgotten

That beautiful mare from years ago

In a hospital room

His last hearth's warming he knew

He'd never see her again

That dream would never come true

But then from the hall

He heard her call

That sweet familiar voice

She found him after all

Tears came to his eyes

As she stood by his side

Until he had to say goodbye
