I totally respect their philosophy on dating. And I don't want to give the impression that I'm critcitising the song or anything, but I feel like the Barlowgirls have this idea in their heads that their 'husband' will just show up outside their house one day and it'll all be perfect. Sometimes the ideas we have in our heads about how life should be isn't what God has in store for us. I mean, hey maybe His plan for the Barlowgirls really is that he drops their 'prince charmings' into their back gardens or whatever. But then again, maybe it isn't. Life can be a lot more complicated than this song - even for Christian girls who wait.
