@benschrilla09 Actually you don't have to miss this kind of metal. There are some of new bands, playing old school shit in a very good way. Try for example: swedish Repuked, greek Dead Congregation or finnish Stench Of Decay.

This is what DM sounds i like. craggy and stale guitars, like the bass and drums. Bass sound like played from pothole. Drums jungle drums sounds. Just bought Dark Crusades DVD, real lo-end sounds, but fits perfectly Autopsy. Chris Reifert is just pure genious in his drumming, his own original style of drumming. Just classic, is this death metal, it is and its not, i think. THIS IS AUTOPSY!! Musically brillant albu also. Songs roll on so smooth at the psycotic and song, Mental Funeral..

Yeah man, I know what you mean. I meant specifically this song sounds a bit a Celtic Frost song in certain places ( which is not a bad thing ) but I cant remember what one. Anyway, Autopsy are fucking excellent, and most likely so are the bands who influenced them ha ha. Old school Death Metal for the win.

Well, Celtic Frost had an influence to a lot of the Old School Death Metal bands. Also you can hear Black Sabbath's influence also on this fucking awesome and sickening album.
