LOL You obviously don't realize that Attica Blues IS a Trip Hop group out of Atlanta. This a combination of Smooth Vocals (not R&B BS whining into the Mic) and Hip Hop Beats which equals Trip Hop. If you could name 1 Hip Hop artist from the 90s that sounds like this track I'd be SURPRISED and would in turn post 10 replies with better Trip Hop examples.

Thats just called hip hop. original hip hop was more like it especially the sound of instrumentals practically the same and actually more jazzy then this. This has dirty boom baps this is nothing less then some classic 90's joint.

This is the best example of why I love Trip Hop. The combination of Hip Hop beats and Jazz Vocals got me hooked on Trip Hop the fist time I heard the combination. This song starts out straight Hip Hop until 1:55 then switches to straight Trip Hop. Dope Beats, meaningful lyrics with no autotune, backup singers, or screaming into the microphone.
