What was nice about where I grew up near Providence Rhode Island, was that WBRU, the brown university radio station played all the new and unusual songs. I have never seen a station, college or otherwise such as that since. Monstrous effect on me growing up

Saw them open for Yes. One great night of music. Bill was still with Yes. Vincent Crane and Carl Palmer were in the Crazy World of Arthur Brown. Carl was on the first Rooster album. He was gone from the band when I saw them but still a great show.

Before Carl Palmer joined Emmerson, Lake, and Palmer, he was in this band. I think the keyboard player Vincent Crane was one of the best.

Mmmm... All the gigs from that period seem to merge into one these days (LOL!). Maybe I am thinking of The Oval gig from around the same period? (Mott The Hoople/Lindisfarne/The Faces?) - then again...

Sorry, def not at that gig. The Who at Charlton was 74 I think, With Bad Co, Stone The Crows, Lou Reed. I guess you were stoned. ;)
