If it weren't for El you wouldn't have a ton of underground greats that came up under Rawkus, Eastern Conference, Fondle Em and of course Def Jux (which he founded and ran till he himself but it into hibernation.) Ever heard of Company Flow? You should have cuz they essentially wrote the book on Underground Hip Hop in the late 90's and early 2000's, and El was their lead producer and lyricist. I'm a huge Atmosphere and specifically Slug fan but El is in no way a wannabe. Check that bullshit at the door before opening your mouth.
