I' ve recently found Atheist and I' ve enjoyed every second of their first two albums (I hope I' ll buy them soon), the thrashing progressive guitar work added to Flynn's rampaging clever drumming (which entered to my favorites list) just blow me away. But Can somebody tell me why is this considered DEATH METAL and Kreator' s Pleasure to Kill, for example, Thrash? Just because of the scene it emerged of and the year?
